Nothing has failed me yet! You just have to be smart when applying it. It sticks instantly so there is no trying again. I mean, it is STICKY!! You can feel instantly when you adhere something that it will not budge. Obviously not anything too heavy. When you do want to remove it, be patient and mindful of the surface it's mounted on. If on a painted wall, it may strip the paint so a goo-removing product may be needed.
