Appreciated that the underside gripped well to the bench top and didn't slip while rolling out dough. Review: Although not as non-stick as I'd like it at times for fondant, this mat is huge and I love that - it covers a significant area of the bench when I'm working on fondant and it has a nice thickness to it. It would be excellent for making pastries etc too. I found I still need to flour the area and sometimes the imprint of the cross-hatch of the mat comes through onto the fondant a little, but it's not too noticeable and easily buffed out. The guide circles were a lifesaver when making a cake for my nephew recently. It seems very well made and cleans up easily. Can't really get it into the sink though, so have to just wipe it over a bunch of times.
