When we’re these made and then sold to the Amazon seller?** A: Products was made in China, the production time was end of last Nov. and ship to USA in Dec. of last year. **Q: Have you tried frothing matcha with this device?** A: Yes, it absoulately suitable for matcha, plus the sifter and scoop attached, it is wonderful for for Matcha Ceremony. Also below information for your reference. The froth on a cup of matcha is not simply from whisking (though it does help), but rather from a compound in the matcha powder itself called saponin. Some matcha has higher saponin content than others, but all quality matcha should froth. If your cup of matcha isn't frothing the way you like, the mistake could be either one of the three: 1) Not sifting your Matcha If you want good froth, you have to sift. Matcha is ground into a super-fine powder, the particles have a tendency to clump together and pack very easily. This milk frother does an amazing job of that! Just sift before you add water. 2) Using cold water If your water is not hot enough (below 80C/176F) your matcha may not froth correctly. Consider cold brew matcha. It is brewed with ice cold water, shaken vigorously, but only has a little, if any, froth to it. Using water hotter than optimum temperature is fine (but definitely not boiling). 3) Incorrect water to powder ratio You don't need a whole bowl of matcha powder to make an enjoyable drink, you simply need to get the ratio of powder to water right so it doesn't end up too thick. The ratio is typically 60-70 ml of water to 2 grams of matcha powder, or 1/2-1 teaspoon. In a proper pitcher, this leaves plenty of room to swirl and expand while it is whisked so it doesn't slosh over the sides. The room for movement is crucial in order to create frothing. With that being said, just follow these tips and you'll be frothing those amazing Matcha cups in no-time :) **Q: will it make a thicker creme' on espresso? I'm referring to the coffee itself, not the milk.** A: Crema from espresso is actually from gas released by the bean as water runs over it. The fresher the bean the more crema. A local roaster who roasts small batches, and are usually cheap, will be great for more crema. But this frother will do well w cold foam!! **Q: whisk holder made of porcelain and else? the top part is smooth and shine but the bottom is rough! why? what is it made of, ceramic?** A: Dear, there are 4 color whisk holder pack and ship randomly, 2 of them are made of porcelain, celadon, which is with full glaze on surface, all was smooth. 2 of them are made of ceramic/pottery, only top part which contact with bamboo whisk during using was glazing & smooth, bottom part was without glazing, which is rough. This design was for better looking.
