Just that if it fails, it will be under warranty. On auto, these go on for 10 minutes, so if you assume 6,000 hours, that's enough for 36,000 sanitations. Most people will never get anywhere close to that. I have this unit and it works great, but I won't get anywhere near 36,000 uses. **Q: independent lab testing to confirm effectiveness?** A: So the manufacturer claims. I can tell you there is a slight odor after the device is removed, so clearly something is happening when it's in an activated box.
