It is easy to install if you are handy and have the right tools but it can be a mess if you dont know what you are doing and depending on the material you have to cut out. Presumably using the exhaust unit as the intake (and intake as exhaust)?** A: I suppose you can but it wouldn’t look very nice. The cabinet that I build needed an exhaust fan to get the air out, just having air ventilation was not doing it for me. The controllers on this is nice because of the temperature sensors built into it. The fan will begin working as soon as it feels too hot. The amount of air flowing out of this thing is just amazing, and very quiet. You just wouldn't guess it from first looking at it.
