Review: Secret ingredient for making creamy yoghurt you don't have to strain - I had been making yoghurt using store-bought goats milk and some probiotics of specific bacterial strains that I wanted (not traditional yogurt-making strains) and the texture had been quite runny. An acquaintance from Iraq told me that he made his yoghurt exclusively from powdered (cows) milk, and never had to strain it, as he could decide how thick he made up the milk. Since I wanted to use goat milk for the smaller, more human milk-like curds and lack of casomorphins, I tried this powdered goat's milk, added to the store bought goat's milk and the yoghurt turned out nicely set with no need to strain, so I had much more yoghurt volume, as it kept all the whey in there. I couldn't be happier and I'm looking forward to loads more experimentation with this wonderful tasting product. Thank you.
