I would highly recommend buying a kryptonite lock instead if you live where bicycle theft is relevant I dont use it for long periods of time so im not to concerned about it but I could probably break it with a regular hammer also the bracket doesn't fit my road bike. and the bracket mount faces inside the U so it makes it prone to scratching and is a very tight squeeze would I recommend NO but if its all you can afford its better than nothing ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I think this should have a much higher rating. *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2019* I really like this bike lock. It's heavy duty steel, easy to open & lock, it has a cover that slides over the keyhole to help prevent freezing & rusting, and it comes with a holder to attach it to your bike while it is not in use. I do not actually use it on a bike. I use it to lock my gate in the backyard to prevent intruders from coming in from the alley. A homicide took place in my alley last year and while it was an isolated event, I felt compelled to take extra precautions to provide additional security. So, in addition to motion lights and cameras, I replaced the padlock with this bike lock. It is a physical as well as a visual deterrent to opportunists who look for an easy target. ### ⭐ Nothing, no good product !
