The addition of a third box in the upper tray is very handy for foods that you don't want bounced around like my Trisket Crackers or say raspberries / blueberries / blackberries and etc. The lid of the third box is handy as it helps to snap and secure it in the upper tray. I have found this lunch box to be just right for my needs. I don't have to fight my food to get at it or leave items behind that won't fit, and this is helpful when I have to sit a 12 hour shift and I can have some good snacks during that time. ETA: It's been six months since I bought this originally. I have never been happier with this purchase.
