Featuring a semiconductor sensor, it detects methane, propane, butane, and city gas with a loud ≥85dB alarm and a clear LED digital display that indicates gas concentration levels in real time. Easy to install with a standard 3-pin UK plug and built from durable ABS plastic, it offers reliable, low-power operation with smart installation guidelines to maximize leak detection and prevent hazards.

## Description

Product Description MODUN declare that the 502 gas detector fulfils the provisions of the following directives and standards LVD Directive 2014/35/EU EN 50194-1:2023 Alarm sound volume: ≥85dB Material: plastic ABS Operating environment: -10℃～50℃ Operating humidity: 9%LEL When the gas leakage concentration is detected to be over 9%LEL, a letter A will be displayed on the screen. The STATE and ALARM indicators will flicker red at the same time, and the frequency of flicker is the highest, the detector will make extremely pressing alarming sound. INSTALLATION Natural gas consists of methane gas that is lighter than air. In case of the gas leakage, natural gas will rise to the ceiling and gather to the surrounding areas of ceiling. Therefore, for natural gas, the detector shall be installed 30cm below the ceiling and 1.5m distance from the radius of air source (Please install it in an appropriate location according to the height of the ceiling). LPG consists of a mixture of Propane and Butane, which is heavier than air. If the gas leaks, the LPG will fall to the ground. Therefore, for LPG, the detector should be installed 30 cm above the floor and 1.5m distance from the radius of air source (Please install it in an appropriate location according to the actual environment). Testing Method Press and hold the lighter switch, close to the gas inlet of the gas alarm and deflate slowly (Don't ignite the lighter during deflating). - {Digital display & Sound alarm} -- Number 0 showes on the gas detector indicator under normal conditions. If a flammable gas leak is detected, the indicator will showes numbers 1-9 and A. Once the concentration exceeds 3% LEL, the alarm sounds and flashes red. According to different concentration of combustible gas leak, the alarm will shows different states
- {Energy saving & Durable} -- Standard British plug, not required converter, installation is extremely simple. Plastic ABS material, easy to clean. Using <2 watts of power, significant energy saving. Widely used in restaurants, kitchens, hospitals, hotels, oil plants, garages, gas stations, etc
- {Test Method} -- Press and hold the lighter switch at the inlet of the methane detector and slowly deflate (do not turn the lighter on while deflating). When the concentration reaches the standard, an alarm will alarm until the volume of ambient gas falls below the alarm point. Precautions: It takes about 2-3 minutes to warm up the system, the gas test will not work during this time
