One thing that is important to know is that the embedded audio signal is reduced by about 15db. The other thing you might be trying to do is to connect a camera to your computer in order to live stream. If this is the case then do you want a BlackMagic ultra studio 3G recorder (Mac) or a Decklink Mini Recorder (PC).
