But it was mostly formulas so it was easy to fill in holes and blanks just using math. I remarked that I don't know what I would have done if it had been something harder to reproduce like poetry or a diary. I hope you manage to recover your information somehow. I don't know why Pilot would make pens like these. I did have some of the text in my book written in the "Extra Fine" version of these and that text is all there and still fine. I don't know what the difference is in the ink but if you like these pens and want a version that doesn't suck, maybe look for the extra fine (they're a blue/grey color pen with black ink). I am a teacher, who uses pens a lot but really likes to erase things when necessary. These do the job. I've only met one paper type that they did not work great on, and that was just the erasing part. Once you erased on this paper type, it was very hard to write in the same spot. Which, isn't the end of the world, and like I said happened only once. I prefer a slightly thicker pen and this does the job for me. I compare the thickness to the thicker mechanical pencils if you are familiar with them. There are cheaper options out there, I've tried them, because I am cheap, but they all left me unhappy. These are unmatched and comparatively for what you get, a great deal. You can even purchase ink refills for these. Though, I've never needed to, I usually borrow them out (and never get them back) or misplace them before they run out. Life of a teacher. Teacher approved, love the color mix!
