I don't know if you spilled a large amount of liquid would it soak through. Definitely water repellent, not sure if I would call it water proof. **Q: It says that it is a waterproof material but that the cover is not waterproof- Does the cover protect the couch from water or not?** A: Still I don't receive my parcel **Q: Does this make the sofa waterproof??** A: The largest size is a 4 seater but not an L-shape sofa cover as it says in name. It is not as water proof as I would have liked. Liquid did go through onto my sofa ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Bad information from seler *by A***U on 24 February 2020* It's not good ### ⭐⭐⭐ Got there in the end but looks good *by M***A on 18 December 2019* Items was delivered 4 days earlier than expected. I ordered 2 x two seater covers in a khaki colour for my corner sofa. To be honest I didn’t expect a perfect fit due to the functionality of my sofa having a lift up storage section and sofa bed. However after a bit of fiddling about and having to unbolt sofa to separate unit in order to fit cover over it I finally managed to get it to fit, not perfectly as previously thought but good enough for it to look reasonable enough. I can’t tie the string under the bottom as I wouldn’t be able to pull out the sofa bed section of sofa or use the storage section. We’ll see how good quality is after a few months or so of general use.
