Had a chopper like this a few years ago but broke when chopping sweet potatoes. This one will do the same if you aren't careful. They are plastic so anything dense will require you to cut it in small/thin slices. Not unheard of to do that but worth knowing as it will take some small effort to get the size right. Used on a sweet potato the day that I got it and made sure not to overwhelm it and it worked well. Comes with lots of attachments so thats handy and helpful too.
