No programming was necessary. Pedal stop grommet was also broke. While diagnosing, scan and clear codes with engine off. If codes P0227 and P1227 immediately reappear, push accelerator pedal slightly, hold pedal while clearing codes again. Without letting pedal up, see if check engine light illuminates.
