**Q: Will the large container hold a gallon of ice  cream**
A: It states that it is a 1/2 gallon container.  I believe that most ice cream containers nowadays are 1.5 quarts, so less than 1/2 gallon; it seems like that amount of ice cream would easily fit into one of these containers.

**Q: What arae the dimension of each container with its lid on?**
A: I am confused. The question was about the 1/2 gal. container, but the picture beside the part where I gave the answer showed one quart. Since I purchased the 1/2 gal. one I will give you those dimensions. They are 5 3/4 inches square and 5 1/2 inches High. Hope this helps.

**Q: I want to know if they fall out on the floor from the freezer once frozen are the lids going to break**
A: I didn't actually drop one, but I believe it would break.  Was very disappointed in quality of this item.  Didn't seem like a freezer product, more like storage.  Lids don't seal that well to be freezer
