I am a yoga instructor and the one that I usually use is bigger and sounds better. This one is quieter. I guess size really matters. other than that it looks beautiful not exacly like the picture ( color is not black as the picture but more like brownish) I like the box and the card which explains the meaning of (om mane padme hum). I finally committed. I read the reviews and some complaints about the paper box being bent or damaged almost made me choose another vendor. Please do not let the bent paper box comments dissuade you. I received the most wonderful email from the vendor upon making my order in which they extensively stated how pleased they would be to exchange my box, bowl, etc. if I was not 100% pleased. The bowl arrived and I have to tell you, it is beyond what I could have expected. It is special and unique. The craftsmanship and quality are more than I expected. The sound is so soothing and I was able to make it sing. In regards to my paper box, yes it is a little bit dented on one corner. Will I be asking for an exchange? Absolutely not. The "damage" on the box is simply the testament of the long journey this bowl made to get to me. It is the dent on the box that makes it that much more special. So while others may see the dent as a bad thing, I am grateful for it and think it makes my order that much more unique and meant for me.
