Review: Great product!!! 😄 - This metal polish actually works quite well. I bought this to restore the original finish (or as close to original as possible) on our church's commercial kitchen sinks and stainless steel prep and serving tables. I used approximately 1/4 of the medium sized jar for a 10’, three bay sink and drain boards and 40’ of stainless steel tables. It took some time and elbow grease, but the results were great. All of the water and soap stains disappeared and the surfaces were restored to nearly their original #4 grade finish. The luster was greatly enhanced, as well. Liquid spills are much easier to clean up due to the micro silicone coating of the polished surfaces. The key to using this polish most effectively is to continuously work the polish until resistance increases to the point where it feels as though the area is virtually dry. It’s at this point that it will be black in color. And continued rubbing will begin to remove the residue. Then use a microfiber cloth to wipe and buff the area until all residue has been removed. As I mentioned above, elbow grease is a must to achieve optimal results! It’s well worth the effort, as you’ll be very pleased with your effort. I did use a 110v rotary polisher to restore the table surfaces, but I restored the sinks completely by hand. Both methods worked equally well. I highly recommend this metal polish! 😄
Review: Excellent - Not a Miracle - There Are No Miracles To Be Had - Yes, there are no miracles. A miracle would be to apply polish to heavily oxidized aluminum, work it for a while with an angle buffer, and have it come out with a mirror finish. There is nothing - NOTHING - that will do that. Nor is there anything you can spray on that will remove heavily oxidation. All polishes are work. I'm redoing a 1953 Airstream that was probably never polished and spent the last 22 years sitting in the sun and weather on a farm. (There was a tree growing through the tongue.) It's overall heavily oxidized. The surface feels like fine sandpaper. Now, these vintage Airstreams were made with all-clad aluminum that has a thin surface layer of soft metal to take that true mirror finish you don't see on new ones. You can indeed return it to that state, but this polish won't do that. No polish alone will do that. That requires many steps of abrasives to remove scratches and several steps of different polishes to bring back the shine. That's more than I want to do, so I determined to do the best a polish could do. This is the one I chose. Being a polish, it can't remove scratched. Nor an it or any other polish remove all the oxidation in one pass. It takes multiple applications, wiping away black oxide and buffing after each application. If your aluminum isn't too heavily oxidized, meaning it's clouded but without visible nodules of oxidation, you can get a pretty nice finish with two or three applications. Heavy oxidation will take three, four, or more. And that's with an angle grinder type polisher, and running through a fair number of wool applicators. You don't want to try to do it all in one pass, because you'll build up so much black oxide that it will hard to remove. It's impressive enough that you actually can get through heavy oxidation with a polish. You will get filthy. You can just about throw away your clothes when the project's done. And you'll need a LOT or cotton polishing rags. (We bought them by the pound from the Goodwill store where they dump their excess by the pound.) You'll use one to wipe down the oxide and another to buff it up before you finish it with your orbital buffer. The result will, if it's old, still show its age, but the shine can be good enough to read a newspaper's reflection. I tried other polishes. None that I tried did as well as this one. I am about one-third through the project, an 18-foot aluminum travel trailer. I expect to run through the entire 72 ounce jar and then some, but I think I can do the past pass with some of the other polishes I tried first. But I understand now why they get $3000 to polish these things to a mirror finish. Needless to say, if you just want to polish a newish aluminum object that is only a little dulled, the results will be stunning. If you're doing something that's just mildly oxidized, you can get a very nice finish with a reasonable investment of sweat. So, five stars for doing all a polish can do, better than most.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can i use this on my blue typewriter**
A: It only works on Polish typewriters. No matter the color, as long as it was made in Poland.

**Q: Can i use this to remove oxidation on a Nissan Murano windows trim ??**
A: I believe it would work well for that.

**Q: Remove scratches from stainless steel?**
A: I used it on my refrigerator. It removed the majority of the scratches & the few deeper scratches that remain aren’t as noticeable.

**Q: does it remove caked brake dust**
A: Yes, but (there’s always a but) depending on where the “caked brake dust” is. If on the inside of alloys you’d use a lot wastingly, and the rubbing would remove the top coat. There are other better products to remove hardened brake dust only. However, Blue Magic would be what I would use to polish and finish off

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brought New Life to a 39-Year-Old Bike Brake Caliper!
*by R***Z on September 17, 2025*

This polish does exactly what it claims—restores shine to old, dull metal without leaving a mess. I used it on a 39-year-old bicycle brake caliper, and the difference was noticeable right away. The application was easy: I spread it with shop paper towels, then buffed it out with a cloth to reveal a clean shine. No greasy or nasty residue was left behind. While I only used elbow grease, I’m confident an orbital polisher would have brought out an even deeper shine. The polish does carry the distinct smell common to most mag wheel cleaners, but nothing too strong or unpleasant. All in all, this product impressed me. It revived decades-old parts with minimal effort and left them looking refreshed and bright. The photos show a reference picture on how dirty the calipers were and how the rear brake looks after a deep clean and polish.
