In meinem Falle wollte ich auch erst einmal sehen, ob die Faszination Sternenhimmel so anhält, das der Erwerb eines deutlich teureren Gerätes lohnt. Zum anderen ist das Bresser Messier AR-90/900 EXOS1 aber auch als Reiseteleskop durchaus interessant, da es noch relativ unproblematisch transportiert werden kann und sehr schnell aufgebaut ist. Damit wird es mich also auch in den Urlaub begleiten.Als Anfänger kann man damit eine Menge an praktischer Astronomie lernen und auch erste Photos sind durchaus möglich. Man "lernt" aber auch sehr schnell, das eine Motorsteuerung/Nachführung, die die Exos1 original nicht hat, eine wirklich nützliche Sache sind, da insbesondere bei großer Vergrößerung die Objekte sehr schnell aus dem Sichtfeld verschwinden und manuelles Nachführen gar nicht so einfach ist. Allerdings wird eine Montierung mit Motorsteuerung und Datenbank natürlich deutlich teurer.Was darf man nun erwarten? Planetenbeobachtung funktioniert sehr gut. Die Ringe des Saturn sind sehr schön zu sehen, Jupiter ist ebenfalls beeindruckend, Mars - nun ja nicht ganz so toll. Mond und mit entsprechendem Schutz Sonnenbeobachtung ebenfalls gut- siehe Bilder vom Venustransit vom 06.06.2012. Deep Space Objekte kann ich noch nicht recht beurteilen. Das wird wohl erst wieder interessant, wenn es im Winter richtig dunkel und der Himmel kalt und klar ist.Die 5 Sterne sind natürlich im Verhältniß zum Preis zu sehen. Ein Vergleich mit einem 10 mal teurerem Gerät macht wohl wenig Sinn. Erwähnen möchte ich neben der, wie immer schnellen und gut verpackten, Lieferung von Amazon.de, den sehr freundlichen Service von Meade/Bresser. Mir war in dunkler Nacht ein Teil der Montierung beim Schwenken abgebrochen und nach einer e-mail wurde mir von Seiten von Meade sehr schnell und freundlich geholfen.Ich kann das Teleskop für Anfänger oder als noch gut transportables Gerät empfehlen, natürlich darf man keine Darstellung wie vom Hubble-Teleskop erwarten.
