Left it in a warm room to expand fully -- after 3 days it was still creased like a knife edge all down one side. Also, one edge only expanded to 1" in height (and that's being generous). I purchased the queen size for my bed and it arrived in a compact box. Once the topper was opened, I let it expand all the way before putting it on my bed. I've bought other mattress toppers from Costco and they really smelled funny. This mattress topper did not smell funky at all. If anything, it smelled fresh. It wasn't too bad putting the mattress topper on top of the bed. The queen sized bed sheets fit over the topper and bed without issues. Sleeping on the mattress topper was comfortable and I slept soundly. The topper makes the bed about two inches more elevated, which is something minor to get used to. I'd recommend this mattress topper because it's organic and doesn't have that weird smell like other brands have.
