That's 5 weeks of consistent use with no reduction in power that I can feel. I've brushed every night before bed, and I'd estimate I've brushed a little over half the mornings. That's about 50 brushing sessions on one battery. I'm very pleased with this and fairly amazed. (And I *still* haven't felt the need to replace the original battery.) So I'd certainly recommend this as a travel toothbrush. It packs well and absolutely does the job of getting my teeth clean.
