So I did and very often they were too big - I was normally size 12/14 in a shop. So I cut pieces for an 18 and felt it definitely too big. I then lost a bit of weight - 10-12 shop size. I now cut out size 14. However having said all of that - I haven’t made up this pattern yet. It looks big !! I would say 14 ready to take it in 🙂! Vogue is very instructive if you read the instruction sheets and a great tool for learning seeing techniques. Assemblage easy- peasy. I found the sizing very generous. You always want to fit the pattern tissue on ( or with a helper) yourself before committing a pattern to fabric. On the pattern you can alter to you shape according to pattern design. Vogue has always been exact.
