I give the actual DVD 5 plus stars. The blessing of the Medicine Buddha cannot be emphasized enough and I highly recommend using the DVD so please don't let this stop you from doing so. Just understand the one thing With the turntable. I plan on keeping mine but have to check it every morning. Its your call. The turntable is a challenge. To be clear -- if anyone simply mounts the DVD on another motor spindle rotating in the clockwise direction this will be great. I just received my unit and saw that it can indescrimiately start turning backwards due to the inexpensive turntable used. I would have gladly paid an extra dollar or two for one that turned correctly every time as prescribed specificallly by the Tibetans and the Buddhist scriptures -- in the clockwise direction. Every time. Never backwards. If it even had a battery slot it would be possible to insure correct operation. A better turntable that only goes clockwise is totally necessary. The DVD is great and I'm sure your lama wants these to benefit all sentient beings. I will check it each morning to insure its turning correctly to insure there actually is a blessing so personally it will be part of my practice till I can get another turntable for it. I'm sure you can do this small change and carry out the fundamental good you were intrusted with. Its a very worthy concept. Please, for the huge blessing it will bring, fix this simple problem. Thanks Review: Not enough light to run - Read this. - The room I wanted to run this in did not have enough light for the solar cells to run it. So I wired in one D cell battery, parallel across a solar cell which was the same as across the little DC motor that turns the wheel. It has been turning the wheel now for over six months and I think it will run it for a long time, like a battery powered wall clock. I used a 12 in length of twisted 22ga wire which I soldered across the solar cell and on the other end of the wire I soldered on two small round magnets which stick on the pos. and neg of the D cell battery. The magnets work good and eliminate the need for a battery case.
