Review: Pretty uncomfortable unless your seat already has padding - I tried this on my office chair that basically has no padding left on the seat, and it was pretty lumpy and hard. I imagine this works reasonably well in cars where the seats are sprung and it’s mainly there to protect the leather or whatever, but for my boney bum, it didn’t do the trick I’m afraid.

**Q: Is this pad washable**
A: The item has a care label which is in Chinese, with no recognisable international symbols.  There was no information included.  I have read ELSEWHERE, that the components (bamboo & charcoal) are self-cleaning and are best NOT washed, but I do not state this authoritatively.

**Q: Does this tie on to the chair please?**
A: No, there are no ties on this cushion. The underside has strong gripping surface.  The care label is a mystery! Written in Chinese (?) with no recognisable international symbols.  I cannot state with authority, but I have read elsewhere, that the components of this cushion (bamboo & charcoal) are self-cleaning and that washing may be damaging, so I don't!  It is not a "thick/soft" cushion, but it its main comfort is from even temperature (never feels hot/sticky).  I use it on office chair, but I can imagine that it would supply comfort on a car seat.

Secured the cushions to my car seat covers using Velcro . They give a lot more comfort and does help keep you cool. Thinking of adding one as a back rest as well.
