But I needed something for 2 aluminum bats I use for protection. Daily use would require you to retape I suspect. But I used duct tape before and I didn't like the feel or look. This is flat matte so there's something to grip. I took a chance because a lot of the reviews were negative but missed the point: it was the cheapest roll so my expectations were low and it surpassed them.
