I de-pinned all of the unused wires from the harnesses before I started in order to clean things up.The instructions are OK. I used them to make a spreadsheet/chart with all of the wire descriptions, colors and locations for the harnesses and my vehicle and printed it out to have with me in the vehicle.I soldered all connections, wrapped with 3M electrical tape and then used 3M friction tape to wrap all of the wires so they all look like factory harnesses. Programming was simple.I will be adding the smart phone kit for the added features and extended range.The only con is that the vehicle shuts off when you open the door but that is not specific to this remote start manufacture anyway.It works as advertised, I had no issues and am satisfied. This kit can be intimidating because all the wires but there were only 6 splices i had to tap and 2 easy ground connections. I had little trouble with the ECM plug splices but after looking at another instruction sheet that had better photos on the website from a different model for my car i determined I spliced the incorrect wires and the module would not programe but as soon as I corrected this it was good to go. Installed on 2010 Lexus RX350. Took me longer because of my mistake but I’d say about an hour taking your time. You print instructions from there site read those carefully the diagrame shows all connections. I printed to better read and have on hand witch I recommend. Also I contacted support from there site on a Sunday and they replied supper fast on Sunday fast service. If your handy this should be a walk in the park. I didn’t want to pay $300 for some other brand that was plug and play and it does the same thing with my factory control key Also splices should not be with quick clips they recommend splice divide wires and twist it’s all on the instructions I ended up soldering and was pretty easy these wires heat up fast and take Solder fast and easy.
