Each child will do it individually. About how many packets do I need?** A: I think that there are more than enough seeds in the packet for your classroom even w/ 2 or more seeds per student. It does take a while to sprout (envelope says 4 weeks) but they sprouted w/in 3 weeks. **Q: Will these work in hydroponic kits?** A: This did not grow well in my botinium hydroponic kit. **Q: About how many seeds are in the bag?** A: Too many and too small to count.
