Review: Amazing product! - This product is truly amazing. We have 4 kids so when we go on vacation our car is packed down. We have a 6 month old so it was impossible for me to get to him inside the car from everything we had packed. This has changed that. I love how much stuff it hold and how secure it was on our 4 hour drive. It was super easy to set up as well. I have a 2025 ford explorer and we got the 20 cubic foot. Great size. Great great purchase! Cannot recommend enough.

Needed additional space for a 10hr drive as we moved and this cargo bag did trick. QUALITY: It feels a bit flimsy, the zippers could be beefier, but it overall held up great. The straps/buckles are solid, the stitching all appears to be well done & durable. It is NOT 100% WATERPROOF though. I had to pack this the day before our drive, and it unfortunately rained that day. Sitting stationary in the rain for a solid 14hrs and it did let some water in, but not a lot at all. Our stuff was packed in hard shelled suitcases & some duffles inside of garbage bags, so everything was fine. Plan on doing some extra waterproofing yourself. INSTALLATION: Seriously couldn’t be easier. We don’t have cross bars, only rails, and securing it was no problem at all. After doing some test drives I have 0 concerns about it being safe. Very satisfied here. STORAGE: • 1 L suitcase • 1 M suitcase • 2 carryons • 2 duffles • 2 sets of 15-20 shirts on hangers in bags Probably could’ve fit more soft items, but the suitcases made zipping it a bit tight. **Q: why does the video have misleading and false adverts out a “complimentary” abrasion pad?  One star for false advertising. Amazon should suspend seller**
A: It does not come with the abrasion pad as advertised. This arrived the day before our vacation and my husband discovered that it didn't come with the pad.  Had no time to purchase one so we had to stuff everything in our car.  Very disappointed.  Spent money on the carrier and the bars and weren't able to use either.

**Q: Does it come with the roof protector?**
A: It does NOT come with one, despite the installation video referencing an “included” mat.

**Q: Can this work with door hooks for van without a roof rack?**
A: Yes. There are straps with hooks that you attach to the roof frame where the door meets the frame. You’ll find rubber cushioning along the frame which you need to pull down to position the hooks. The cushioning goes back when you take the hooks off. Before you buy it, just inspect the frames to make sure there are lips underneath the cushioning.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product - but zipper construction is backwards

Prior to purchasing I read several pro and con reviews on the carrier. For those rating the product poorly, many of those reviewers were frustrated with the zippering mechanism and the potential of water leakage through the zipper. Nonetheless, I purchased the product. When I received the carrier I laid it out and looked at it. Using the product pictures as a guide I established what looked like the front and back ends. Interestingly, the visual front end is where the two zippers come together to close the top. The back of the carrier does not have a zipper and is solid material. However, when I read the instructions it said to install so that the zipper closes toward the back of my vehicle. In other words, I don't know if this is universal, but the zipper appears to be installed backwards! Given that, I simply installed the carrier in the reverse of its appearance and it worked fine. We didn't have an inclement weather on our maiden voyage, but it was sturdy and served its purpose. Once we were done using it, we were very appreciative it came with a nice compact carrying case that we could pack it into that takes up very little space. In summary, to maybe protect against some frustration compare their instructions to the actual look and feel of the product before you install it on your vehicle. Happy traveling!
