There is a tiny gap on the case where dirt and germs could make its way to your straw. 2.) Although I understand that the little cleaning mechanism is good for getting out leftover liquid before putting the straw back in the case, there is no actual straw cleaner to scrub your straw at home.Luckily, I already own a straw cleaner but for people who don't, I suggest getting one. All I do is just pinch the silicone straw a bit and slide it on in. Now we need to get rid of all the plastic water bottles.
