On driving in the dark I was slightly disappointed in that they did not reduce dazzle from oncoming vehicles as well as I had hoped. They did reduce the harsh blue glare and turned it to a more yellow tint. The glasses are lightweight and comfortable and would be easy to wear for long periods. Overall reasonable value for money

**Q: Has anyone used this product when using contact lenses?**
A: I've not used them whilst using contacts but when I've used them at night I find they to not cut out the glare. In bad weather and rain I found they got worse.  I'm still looking for the perfect night driving glasses. They are built well but I don't feel they suit me.

**Q: Do these cut down the effect of sunlight strobing from the side?**
A: I've been recommending these glasses to all my friends. Brilliant at night. Stops the glare from all these newer bright headlights cars have now.  Yes they are also good against bright sunlight from the side as well as the front.

**Q: can you wear these during daylight?**
A: Yes, absolutely. While the darker Category 3 lenses are more suitable for brighter sunlight, these lighter Category 1 lenses are especially helpful for enhancing clarity and definition on overcast days. Hope that helps :)

**Q: are these actually polarise lenses as they do not seem to filter light in a similar way to my other polarised sunglass lenses. i.e. darken when rotate**
A: Yes, I can assure you that they are polarised. These industry standard Category 1 lenses do not darken as much as Category 2-4 lenses so that they reduce glare without compromising on visibility in order to be safe for night driving. Hold the glasses in front of a computer screen (while it is on). Now rotate them 60 degrees. The lenses will darken. This verifies polarisation because light travels in one plane through polarised lenses. Non-polarised lenses would not darken when rotated. I hope this helps.

I used these glasses on a dull afternoon and they provided excellent enhanced light vision. On driving in the dark I was slightly disappointed in that they did not reduce dazzle from oncoming vehicles as well as I had hoped. They did reduce the harsh blue glare and turned it to a more yellow tint. The glasses are lightweight and comfortable and would be easy to wear for long periods. Overall reasonable value for money

As a nation, I have no idea why we have chosen to fit ultra powerful LED lights to cars and blind each other at night but these glasses made a nighttime journey I was dreading into something almost enjoyable. I was able to see clearly except for two drivers who chose to have full beams on but the function of night-time driving was really helped by these glasses. Almost a universal fit - I have quite a big head and my partner is petite but we could both wear these comfortably. Will update in winter when everyone is driving around with LED lights on. ----update---- Absolutely love these glasses in the night. The same journey that was an absolute terrifying horror this time last year was actually an enjoyable drive tonight. I would definitely buy again. Have upped the review to 5* because of this.
