I mostly get tears right at the top of my palms and at the first bend of my fingers. These are the best grips I've found that cover the bottoms of your fingers as well as your palm. They were quick to break in (lots of chalk and scraping on the rough part of a barbell). I don't really notice the wrist strap so it must be comfortable.I'm a woman with smallish hands and found that the leather is a noticable thickness in my grip on the bar but not overly bulky or unmanageable. (I've found other grips to be thicker leather that suited men's bigger hands but I found made it harder to hold on.) I use grips for pull ups etc. but tend not to use them on a barbell.After several months of use the elastic finger holes are a bit tired and loose but that doesn't affect the use of them really.Would buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall decent grips *by O***2 on 4 October 2019* These are probably the best grips I’ve used, but still aren’t quite perfect. At first they were a bit slippy on a coated bar, but this is improving with time. The trimable strap is a good feature, as is the retainer to fold away grips if wanted between movements. Only reason they lose a star is that they are still slightly abrasive on the hands and as mentioned earlier they aren't the grippiest grip ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best grips I have used for CrossFit *by L***Y on 1 March 2019* Over the years I have used about 4 or 5 different grips for CrossFit. These are the best I used.These grips work great. Protect my fingers and palm. I feel like I had solid contact with the bar. Also, the wrist area is just the right size that felt supported holding the barbell in a front rack for squat cleans. The biggest thing I noticed is with my old grips I would get chaffing between my index and middle fingers.
