I’m glad I don’t have to go to the doctors office and pay for every session, this pen works the same as in the doctors and is more convenient! ### ⭐⭐ Cartridge doesn't lock on device *by M***J on Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2020* I was extremely excited about receiving this and getting to work on my skin. However, the cartridge refuses to lock onto the device. I didn't realize it was loose until I started my treatment. It popped off while I was working on the 11s on my forehead and cut a gash in my skin. I had to secure the cartridge the whole time with my fingers. It was not a great experience. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful, glowing skin *by M***2 on Reviewed in the United States on August 26, 2020* I used this for the first time today. I wasn’t sure which model of Dr. Pen to get, and the reviews on the different models didn’t really distinguish, so I opted to get a less expensive version. I’m so happy that I decided to add Dr. Pen to my skin care regimen. Between this pen and a new serum I used during needing, my skin is absolutely glowing. Today I needled for collagen induction, so I selected a depth of 1mm. I highly suggest purchasing Korean numbing cream (this kind has a higher % of numbing agents). When I first started needling, the cream worked so well that I didn’t think the pen was actually doing anything since I felt nothing. After about 10 minutes, the numbing cream started wearing off and I could definitely tell it was working. **Disclaimer, I don’t tolerate pain at all**. Once the cream wore off, I felt the most discomfort (OK, pain. Lots of pain) around my eyes and nose. For those areas, I decreased the depth to .25. That didn’t hurt at all. Besides, .25 is used most often anyway because that depth is ideal for daily serum infusions. After my needling session, my skin was silky smooth, and glowed like never before. I’m not giving 5 stars due to the fact that judging the speed is a little hard. Some of the models apparently have a digital display to quickly and easily let you know how fast it’s going. On this model, there’s only a blinking light. With 5 different speeds, it isn’t easy to judge based on a blinking light. So, all in all, it’s a must have for your skin care regimen.
