After researching I found sunlight can cause this. Since I live in southern AZ and don't like hats, I started looking for something I could use that would mellow the yellow. I ordered this since one of the claims was it toned down brass/yellowing in grey or blonde hair. I was very excited to try it but after applying AS DIRECTED, all it did was make my hair oily. I could have received the same results by dipping my comb in Wesson oil and running that through my hair. Yes, it made my hair shine, but so would baby oil if I applied it to my hair. It didn't change the color or tone at all. Nothing. Not even a tiny bit. I also purchased a different shampoo product which I tested last night. While it's more work to apply and wait, the results are much better.
