I was past the point of always having to unplug one system, and then plugging in the next. I decided it was time to try out an HDMI switch. This one does the job perfectly. It has 4 different inputs (I only use 2 right now, but will be using all 4 in the near future) and 1 input, all of which are located in the back. I looked at others, and not all have the inputs in the back of the unit. I prefer that, as it will make it easier to have a more streamline look with hiding my HDMI cables.It does have an "auto switch" function. This means that when you turn on one of your HDMI units, it will automatically switch to that HDMI input. But you can also use the button on the front or the handy remote it comes with. The remote is a nice option if you are not within reaching distance of the button. No need to get up and change it, just use the handy dandy remote.I do not notice any quality loss with this unit either. I was a little worried that there could be some due to the fact that it has to route through a separate device before going to its final signal. That does not happen. The switch time is also flawless. When you switch between each channel, it only recognizes ones that have HDMI cables hooked up to, and it changes instantaneously.I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a way to hook up multiple HDMI units to 1 monitor.**Just remember that this is a "switch" and not a "splitter". This unit will not broadcast to multiple monitors. It will only take multiple inputs and route them to 1 monitor.** ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was exactly what we needed! *by M***. on June 25, 2019* I kept mixing the terms switcher and splitter in my head. After reading approximately 1000 reviews on switchers vs splitters, I finally realized what we needed! We don't have children or grandchildren so I have to read to figure out modern technology! One small gripe, we did need an extra HDMI cord to make it work. I gave it 5 stars anyway because it could have been in the product explanation but I had read about so many products the print on my computer was starting to blur. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great *by H***Y on July 24, 2019* Works great. I didn't know it automatically switched hdmi inputs but that was a neat surprise. If you have the snes classic turned on, it will automatically switch to use that. Then if you turn the xbox on at the same time, the screen auto switches to xbox. Then turn off the xbox, switches back to snes classic.
