It is a sealant, not an adhesive. **Q: Would this work on an outdoor gutter?** A: Not sure where in an outdoor gutter you want to use it. But it does work outside. **Q: Will it work on pvc guttering** A: I have not tried it, but i would think so.......very good stuff. I have sealed a shower and filled a hole in an outside door. **Q: How do I remove the seal at the top of the cartridge?** A: It's explained on tge side of the tube. You cut through the seal it has several rigers set at an angle, select with gap you require and cut through with a sharp knife or scissors. One thing it's not easy to get the sealant out, you have to press the base of the tube. They could have made it easier.
