If your vehicle is already 1 1/4'' female and you look for and extension this is not going to fit. **Q: What is distance between holes?** A: 7” **Q: Will I be able to connect my bike rack to this extender with my F-150 tailgate down?** A: No, it doesn't extend that far. It extends far enough to attach a bike hitch giving good clearance from the car on a Kia Sportage.
