Review: Dog loves this stuff for real - I have to crush my dog's pills and this stuff is great to put the powder in. I can wrap it inside and mold into a ball. They stay moist so I can make up a bunch at a time. I get 22 out of a can. I have to fit 2 crushed pills inside. Dog loves the taste, has had no side effects, and pill taking is not a chore anymore. It's not cheap but worth it because it works.

**Q: Is there a product like this without wheat?  My dog can't eat wheat.**
A: You can make a similar wheat-free paste with 1 tablespoon water, 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter, and 2 tablespoons quick oats ground fine in blender (or use oat or rice flour). Form into 12 balls. I would recommend storing them in a plastic bag in the fridge and making fresh weekly.

**Q: What happened to the other 2 flavors?  I hate the Peanut Butter because it is so greasy and oily.**
A: The other flavors seem to come and go.  I bought the Peanut Butter when I could not locate the Bacon flavor (and you are right - the Peanut Butter is very greasy) but then found the Bacon flavor again and ordered 2 jars since I prefer that texture and my dog likes either one.

**Q: Has anyone tried this with a cat?**
A: My cat loves this stuff! He trys to steal it away the dogs after he has had his.

**Q: Calorie count in peanut butter wrap-a-pill**
A: It says 9 calories per serving with 59 servings in a jar, but it really depends on how much paste you use to wrap a pill. You can determine the amount you use so it can actually be rather minimal.

My dog loves this and easily takes her medication with it, which is most important. In addition to that, it’s easy to use and doesn’t leave my hands all greasy like some of the “pill pocket” type alternatives do. I scoop out a small amount with a plastic knife and form it around the pill, easy peezy. Finally, they also have really great customer service which I appreciate! I sent a message asking about some white specks on the top of the paste when it arrived and they wrote back shortly after explaining that it’s just tiny pieces of the wheat flour used in the manufacturing process.
