Memory is what you'd expect from any 8lb mono, light coil if you leave it sit a week, but a quick stretch through your fingers before the first cast and it lays flat. Casting is smooth without the wind knots cheap mono throws on a kid's setup. Compared to P-Line and Stren in the same weight I've used before, Trilene XL has the best balance of stretch and abrasion resistance for the price. 330yd will cover at least a couple seasons. Will keep buying.

I've tried other lines, but this one always works where other twist and knot or have too much memory. Trilene XL is always consistenly good.
