Like other Jura add-ons, it's needlessly expensive and, in this case, completely unnecessary for the overall functionality of the machine. That being said, my wife and I still WANTED it because it improves the overall look of the machine. Think of it like accessorizing your car. The flexible steel tubing goes over the regular plastic tube that's needed for the milk frother, so there's still plastic tubing inside that Jura says should be changed around every 3 months. But the steel tubing includes additional replacement plastic tubing so you should be good for several more months. Best part - the pricing here was better than what you would get from Jura itself. And shipping was fast.

Glad to see that an extra plastic hose is included, since the user's manual does say that the hose needs to be replaced every three months or so. The box includes instructions on how to remove the plastic hose from the stainless steel casing and install a new hose. Overall an attractive accessory for the Jura.

We bought this for our Jura ENA-8. Like other Jura add-ons, it's needlessly expensive and, in this case, completely unnecessary for the overall functionality of the machine. That being said, my wife and I still WANTED it because it improves the overall look of the machine. Think of it like accessorizing your car. The flexible steel tubing goes over the regular plastic tube that's needed for the milk frother, so there's still plastic tubing inside that Jura says should be changed around every 3 months. But the steel tubing includes additional replacement plastic tubing so you should be good for several more months. Best part - the pricing here was better than what you would get from Jura itself. And shipping was fast.
