The longer crank arm makes it a lot easier to go long distances. I put this on an old Rockhopper that I retired from dirt riding. No issues with installation or operation. just gotta be careful when you lean into turns. I caught a pedal on the ground and flipped, but that was my fault. It was not any heavier than the stock part.
