Connect The R134a Manual Couplers To The High And Low Side Service Fittings On The Vehicle Turn the knobs of the couplers clockwise to access the refrigerant flow to the A/C recovery system. Connect The Used Oil Bottle To The Oil Drain Fitting On The Front Of The Unit The oil drain bottle should be connected when the low side gauge reads approximately 10 psi. This will remove the used oil from the internal oil separator that was recovered during the refrigerant recovery mode. Disconnect the oil drain bottle when the low side gauge reads 2 to 0 psi. You will however need a vacuum pump. **Q: Will this equipment pull the required vacuum prior to charging?** A: No this unit will only pull to around 15hg, before the reclaim cycle automatically shuts the it off.
