The story pulls you into the family and the trials that they go through, you can relate to them. Through this book and series, I was reminded of all the awesome things that God can do in our lives, and even when they don't turn out the way we want them, God is still loving us and in control. I read all 14 of the Baxter books in 30 days and was so sad when I finally finished the last book. However, I have moved on to the "Above the Line" series and it is nice that we still get peeks of the Baxter family. I had borrowed several of these books from the library when I was reading them, but I think that I will actually end up buying them for my Kindle so I can read them again.
