Tricky to put on under my mattress but once on I love the lace bottom. It’s sturdy enough that when you adjust it it doesn’t stretch out of shape or tear. I haven’t washed/dried so can’t say how it fares there. It’s sheer, but not overwhelmingly for me. It still provides coverage, it’s not see through. For the cost value , and thickness and the fact that the lace pattern and creases arrived and remains in tact (no rips) I’d recommend this.
