Review: Nice modern-esque bistro set! - This is a nice, modern bistro set. I didn't have high expectations for this set since I could tell it was made from a cheaper more plastic type rattan material, so I was nicely surprised when the quality seemed so much better than I expected. The chairs are sturdy and easily hold my weight (120 lbs). The padding is minimal, and the look is basic, so I added some small bolster throw pillows to jazz it up. The material that covers the seat cushion is great at repelling water. The chairs were easy to put together with all the holes lining up, and all of the screws and washers being included along with a few extra. The table does leave a little to be desired. The reason being that the surface is not flat where the suction cups should attach to the glass top. So essentially, the glass top just "sits" on top of the base of the table. I'm not overly concerned about this since it sits against a brick wall but am a little weary of someone coming along to move the table and having them unexpectedly picking up the top only and it possibly breaking. I am pleased with the quality for the price paid. It's dimensions are as stated in the picture, so the set fits precisely where I wanted it.

The backs of the chairs are very straight up and down, so you sit up straight and comfortably which, in my opinion, makes them easy to also get out of! Plus, the chairs are not extra wide & bulky, which is why they fit so well on our porch! The cushions aren't super "cushion-y", but they add a nice pop of color. To enhance the look and add more color, I added some outdoor pillows (also purchased through desertcart 😉). The entire set was easily assembled and the plastic, wicker type, material seems well made and relatively sturdy. The little side table has a beautiful, black glass top and is the perfect size! Our set sits under a covered porch, but I would think these would clean up nicely with a pressure washer, if needed. The cushion covers zips off easily for washing. I would recommend this set...it's nice looking, comfortable and not too bulky. For the price, you can't beat it!

A: The cushions that come with the chairs are 20 1/2” x 20” if that helps.

**Q: Do you think these could be used for an outdoor dining chair?**
A: No. These chairs are very low to the ground. I am 5’9 and if I sat in these chairs at a dining table my chin would probably reach the table edge. Would be very uncomfortable.

**Q: What is the width and length of the chairs**
A: The chair is 21.5 inch wide,22.8 inch long ,the seat is 21inch wide  21.2 inch long.

**Q: Can the cushions survive in the rain?**
A: I have this set in a covered area. I believe they could survive a light amount of water, but I would not want them to get drenched.

Looking for a new relationship date/stress test that doubles as budget friendly patio furniture? This is the one for you! First off, let's talk height. These chairs sit low to the ground, you may feel like you're auditioning for a role in "The Hobbit." But fear not, hobbits and humans alike, for once you're nestled into these ground-level thrones, you'll feel like you're on cloud nine. Or at least on cloud three and a half. Ok that’s an exaggeration, they aren’t THAT low, but you will think “these are low”. And cloud three and a half? Well, there’s nothing comfy about these chairs. But really, how often are you going to sit in them. Throw a pillow on them and they’ll be comfy enough! Now, onto assembly. Picture this: you and your significant other, armed with the included allen wrench, attempting to piece together the perfect patio ensemble. It's like a game of relationship Jenga – one false move, and you're questioning everything. But fear not, brave souls, for if your love can survive the lettered pieces and cryptic instructions, you're in it for the long haul. Easier than IKEA furniture assembly so it’s the perfect first furniture assembly test. Budget-friendly? Check. Lightweight? Check. Wind-resistant? Uh, not so much. If you live in a windy locale, prepare for your patio set to take flight like a budget-friendly Mary Poppins. Just make sure you tie it down with more than just good intentions. Rain and sun- resistant? I can’t say. But I’d not recommend it to my friends. I’d say this is more for a covered patio, 1-2 years type of set.
