First off, let's be clear, its not a heavyweight tripod, and a lot of the hardened photographers will turn their noses up at it as not nearly sturdy enough, but this isn't designed for use in studios, and I probably wouldn't trust it to hold a big heavy (and expensive) SLR.The unusual feature of this mount is that it has short legs at the base, so its footprint is much smaller than a regular tripod, about 40cm from leg tip to leg tip when fully extended, but for small cameras, gopros, phones, etc, you can reduce that to just 20cm and its still quite stable. This means that I can use it in crowded environments such as small gigs where a full tripod would be impractical, I can squeeze it into a corner of the stage without it being conspicuous to the audience, or a trip hazard for the band. It is also light enough to use as a good-length monopod, but with the added adavantage that I can stand it on the floor easily if I need my hands free for something.It comes with a black nylon tote bag and weighs next to nothing at all. Just like mic stands, some people will throw them around, over-tighten screws, force the poles down without releasing the clips first, drop heavy boxes on them, and then complain that they are cheap and shoddy and not sturdy enough, but if you are sensible and you will get a lot of good usage out of this, and its good value for money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Quality at a Budget Price *by S***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 October 2019* I bought this to use for my small photo studio for online selling and it has been exactly as expected - if not better!It has a very good height range - going from handheld right up to around 150 centimetres. The legs are held in place with 3 different clips per leg, so it’s pretty stable. Your camera is held in place either using the little screw or the phone holder. Either way works fine.The included Bluetooth remote control has been good too - usually a lot of my photos have a shadow in them because of the way the lighting is set up and I have to be there to click the photo. Now I don’t have to be right there - I can move my shadow out of the way and take a great shot!I am very pleased with this tripod and will certainly look at this brand in the future should I need something more advanced. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Grrat addition to at home photo studio on a tiny budget *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 February 2020* Perfect for what I wanted.
