Review: Suction cup works on composite (non-metal) sinks! - Thanks to another reviewer, I also confirm this works on composite sinks. And yes, it occasionally falls off ~3 months but I'm fine with that. When it does fall, I get to clean around the surface area behind the sinkware, which tends to get grimy from hanging the soaked scrubbing pads and wet sink stoppers/strainers. It's a small inconvenience every few months but worth it and the best thing is the suction cup hasn't failed in performance during the last year it's been in use. Price is right and OXO is a brand I trust.

**Q: Anyone else have trouble with it popping off the sink every couple minutes?**
A: Yes.  I have a new stainless steel sink. When I apply it, the suction is really strong - can't pull it off.  If I leave it for 10 minutes, it falls.

**Q: Will this stick to plastic utility sink?**
A: We are using it on a porcelain sink but I imagine it would stick to plastic as long as there is a flat surface for it to adhere to.

**Q: How well does it stick to porcelain sink?**
A: I did not try with a porcelain sink, but I can tell you that it not stick at all to my shower wall which is plastic, not ceramic.  I ended up throwing it out because the 30 day window for returns was up. The oxo good grips organizer is great for my sponge and brush to keep in place and drain water from. It looks great on the inside of my sink. I has however fallen off a couple of times, but easy to remove and wipe clean and put back in place.
