All the facets and the fact it is glass ramps the little light reflections up to 11. If it does die in a windstorm or anything I'd purchase another for this use.

Received this prism with a hazy film over the primary surfaces. It did clean off using vinegar, after first trying soap and water, alcohol, and acetone. Now has a crystal clear finish. Happy with results. Using this prism to sort and grade my astro-photography filters. Prism works great on a mini tripod to cast a visible spectrum on a white board. Then hold the filters in the projected light beam to see what colors are blocked out. Very telling before wasting time taking photos that can't be used.
