From the manufacturer Makita PC5010C/2 Flush to wall and corner planing Features SJS II Super Joint System The PC5010C/2 features Super Joint System II (SJS II) to provide increased machine durability by absorbing the vibration produced by the wheel grinding or cutting material; a leaf spring and cam gear drive mechanism is engineered to reduce vibration for increased operator comfort during extended use. SJS II works by transferring the vibration through the wheel accessory spindle and on to a cam component. The vibration causes the cam to press against the leaf spring and absorb the vibration that would otherwise be transferred to the operator's hands. Review: Very good bit of kit! - After using a standard Grinder with a flat grinder attachment i incredibly impressed by this after finally upgrading my kit. Very comfy to use, great extraction (only used a Henry hoover also!) Easy to control and has a speed settings. Literally ripped through what I was grinding down, would definitely recommend this. Only negatives: Would rather have a battery operated one but such thing doesn’t exist at the moment. When needing to do any detailed grinding you need to open the front flap to see what you are doing and this reduces the vacuum quite considerably (but this is no big deal as only do a small amount of details grinding). Can’t use a cutting disk as the blade rubs against the extraction hood.

After using a standard Grinder with a flat grinder attachment i incredibly impressed by this after finally upgrading my kit. Very comfy to use, great extraction (only used a Henry hoover also!) Easy to control and has a speed settings. Literally ripped through what I was grinding down, would definitely recommend this. Only negatives: Would rather have a battery operated one but such thing doesn’t exist at the moment. When needing to do any detailed grinding you need to open the front flap to see what you are doing and this reduces the vacuum quite considerably (but this is no big deal as only do a small amount of details grinding).
