My kid has been practicing indoor on my hardwood floor. I think it’s best to just practice indoor if possible so the wheel doesn’t pick up rocks. Once you use it outdoor, you can’t use it indoor anymore. The wheels are very smooth and slip fast. If you want to do a clean remove of the packaging wrap, you would need to unscrew and rescrew in the wheels.
