I also don't like how even after rinsing well it seems to show every bit of residue from washing. I often have to rinse it off again before I use it even though I know its clean.I love how long the handle is (about 12" total) and can get to the bottom of all my current pots and pans. Its obviously a hard material with a silicone outer shell. I like that because the silicone still has give, but its stiff enough to get through the thickest foodstuffs I can cook (IE: My cheese grits)Overall I would get this spoon again. I bought the teal blue color because it's my mom's favorite color, and I was worried that it might stain from using it to stir red sauces (it doesn't). Easy to clean, too! I wish the bowl of the spoon was a bit bigger, but that's not the maker's fault (I mostly chose it for the unusual color).
