Step 2: Now weight the coffee: 25-30 are enough. Step 3: Grind your coffee while the water is heating. Grind it about as coarse as sea salt. The water will heat your cup. Let the rest of the water sit in the kettle until it’s about 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Step 7: Now, pour the grounds in the filter and shake it slightly. That should flatten the coffee to allow a more even pour. Step 8: Afterwards, pour twice the amount of water in the grounds center. If you have 25 grams of coffee, pour in 50 grams of water. Flow rate much too restricted to brew in proper time. Even grinding very coarse, the coffee ends up dilute yet overextracted by too much contact time with grounds. There's no way around it, it consistently leaves grounds in my cup. I'm using this with the Hario V60-01.Only giving it two stars because the coffee made still tastes great, but pour-overs are not supposed to leave sediment in the cup.
